Director's note
Wave music video for Kemi Wright. Shot across two nights at a Greenpoint warehouse loft and on a Bushwick rooftop. Concept was "late-night neon" — Kemi performing under hard magenta and cyan, intercut with handheld B-roll of her crew driving through Williamsburg at 3am. Directed by Dior Dave. Tobi Adeyemi shot it on the ARRI Mini LF with Cooke S4i primes, and Marcus Watts pulled focus as 1st AC. Stephen Lee gaffed. Naomi Park edited at 4:12, plus a 60-second social cut and a 5:30 director's cut with Kemi's spoken-word intro. Color was done by Ken Hayashi at Co3 New York. Production company was Anchor Black. Track is "Wave" off Kemi's debut LP, dropping on Loma Vista this fall.
